Lackawanna Recovery Walk & Celebration

Join us for the Lackawanna County Recovery Walk & Celebration on Sunday, Sept. 13, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Nay Aug Park in Scranton, and help us celebrate freedom from the disease of addiction!

THIS EVENT IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

Registration will begin at 11 a.m., followed by the Recovery Walk at noon, and a Celebration of Recovery starting at 12:30 p.m., which will feature music, free food and lots of fun for the whole family!

There will be dozens of exhibitors, a bounce house, face painter, balloon artist, and stilt walker, among other attractions. Free Naloxone and training on how to use it will also be available. The event, which is held in coordination with National Recovery Month, is organized by the Lackawanna Recovery Coalition, The Recovery Bank, the Lackawanna-Susquehanna Office of Drug & Alcohol Programs, and the Lackawanna County District Attorney’s Office.
